On February 26, K-1 hosted K-1 AWARDS 2024 at Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Liu Ce won the MVP Award (Fighter of the Year) and became the the 1st non-Japanese fighter to win the K-1 AWARDS’ MVP in its history. In an interview, Liu Ce confirmed that he will defend his K-1 Cruiserweight Title on May 31, 2025 at K-1 Event in Yokohama.
