K-1 & QUINTET form a business partnership!
Joint event “ReBOOT” to be held on September 10th at Yokohama Arena.
On July 18, M-1 Sports Media, the promoter of the combat sports organization K-1, and Rabarland INC., the organizer of the grappling franchise QUINTET, announced the formation of a capital and business partnership aimed at global expansion.
The two organizers also announced a joint K-1 and QUINTET event, entitled “ReBOOT,” to be held September 10th at Yokohama Arena.
In a global fight market increasingly dominated by Mixed Martial Arts, both promoters emphasized their shared belief in the unique appeal of striking and grappling as distinct forms of martial arts.
Originating in Japan, both K-1 and QUINTET are joining forces to return Japan to the center stage of world of combat sports, starting with the event at Yokohama Arena.
The highly anticipated ‘ReBOOT’ will feature QUINTET.4, marking the first QUINTET Numbered Series in five years (QUINTET.3 was held in 2018). Details about the event will be streamed July 18th, at 12:00 on this website under the special program titled “K-1 & QUINTET Joint Event -ReBOOT- Special Announcement”.
